The Tuscarawas County Heritage Home Association recognizes buildings throughout Tuscarawas County which preserve the historic architectural history of the county. The Association awards recognition plaques in the following categories:
Heritage Home
|
A home built prior to 1901, which maintains its original appearance and character. |
Twentieth Century Heritage Home
|
A home built between 1901 and 1930, which maintains its original appearance and character. |
Historic Marker
|
A building used for purposes other than a residence built before 1931, which maintains its historic appearance, or a building associated with an important person or event in the county's history.
